Get Some Friends is the first official album by Ghettosocks - Halifax’s own Tony Bennett of the rap game. Putting the ‘RA’ back in ‘RAP’, Socks lyrically pushes, shoves, romances, and shoplifts his way on the mic and explores fresh new terrain across vivid Hip Hop landscapes.
Ghettosocks a co-founder and 1/3 of the rhyming horsepower behind the Alpha Flight Crew, along side of Bix and Apt. DJ Y-Rush (’05 & ‘06 Canadian DMC Finalist, ‘05 & ’06 DJ Olympic Champion), DJ Josh, and Jabba tha Cutt are the official Table Jockeys.

* Ghettosocks’, “Step To A T-Rex” was nominated for “ECMA Hip Hop Single of the Year ‘07” and was awarded with a VideoFACT Grant.
* Notable live performances over the past while include the ‘05 ECMA-partnered Underground Hip Hop Showcase (Charlottetown), ’05 Juno Awards Hip Hop Stage (Halifax), ‘05 and '06 Under Pressure Festival (Montreal), the first annual One UP Festival (Calgary), as well as winning the ‘06 DJ Olympics MC Battle.
